Gabriel Schlomer is a Research Scientist for the Arizona Center for Research and Outreach. His work at AZ REACH has centered on several projects including the development of an observation-based assessment tool for measuring youth program practitioner quality, the review and processing of scholarly research relevant to military families, and developing and consulting on grants aimed at furthering research on military families. In addition, Gabriel has maintained an active research program consisting of literature reviews and quantitative analyses of the impact of deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan on military children and families.
Gabriel Schlomer received his Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Indiana State University in 2003 and a Master’s of Science in Experimental Psychology from Western Illinois University in 2005. He completed his Ph.D. in Family Studies and Human Development at the University of Arizona in August of 2010.
